Teacher of the week!

Naomi Rubie is from Australia and is in her second year at Bingham Academy. Naomi teaches Grade 5 and is also involved in leading our Yetesfa Birhan program which works with girls in our local community. In the program, girls are assisted and encouraged in practical ways to stay in school. They also receive English language tuition to help them succeed at school (secondary school in Ethiopia is conducted in English). As well, there are many opportunities to reach out to program participants with the gospel and to encourage them in their faith. Naomi is here with her husband, Shane (who was teacher of the week some weeks back) and their four children. Have a great week Naomi!
